But behind every gown sits a story far deeper than fabric and design.

A Name Built From Family

The name Mavery Hugh carries pieces of the people who shaped both our lives and the heart behind Wedding Belles Love.

Mavery was created by combining the names of two incredibly important women in our family, Darci’s nan Mavis and my nan Dorothy. Two amazing, loving women who showed us nothing but love, support, strength, and warmth throughout our lives.

Hugh was my father’s middle name.

Before Wedding Belles Love ever existed, my dad was the person who always encouraged me to believe in myself. He supported every decision I made with kindness, patience, and unwavering belief. He was the gentlest, kindest man, and although he passed away before Wedding Belles Love was created, he remains part of everything this boutique stands for.

It was through the inheritance he left behind that I was able to create Wedding Belles Love and begin this journey.

Including his name within the collection felt deeply important. A way of carrying a piece of him forward into something built with love, family, and meaning at its centre.

For us, Mavery Hugh is far more than a bridal label.

It is legacy, love, and the people who made this dream possible.

Over the years, we have welcomed thousands of brides through the doors of Wedding Belles Love.

Through every appointment, every conversation, and every emotional yes to the dress moment, we began to understand what modern brides were truly searching for.
