Frequently asked questions
When should I begin the search for my wedding dress?
We recommend you start looking for your gown as soon as possible. We usually recommend 12 months prior to your wedding date. This ensures you are trying gowns that will be current for your wedding date and will allow you plenty of time to make such an important decision and not forgetting extra time needed for alterations.
What are the prices of your wedding dresses?
Our gowns start from £800 and go up to £3500. We understand that some of you may be on a tight budget or short time scale, which is why we do have a reduced sample rail where you can find one of our designer samples at a fraction of their full price.
What sizes are your sample dresses?
Our Bridal Sample collection typically ranges from a UK size 8 up to a UK size 36.
How long will my appointment take?
You will be accompanied by one of our experienced bridal stylists where you will be given a full 90 minutes to try on our collection.
what underwear should I wear for an appointment?
Dont worry about shoes or underwear we've seen everything from polka dots to lace we want you to feel as comfortable as possibe! so wear what you feel good in. Most of our dresses have built in bras so dont worry about strapless bras either.
How many guests can I bring with me for my appointment?
Our boutique is beautifully quaint and we allow each bride the full use of our private viewing suites ensuring you have a completely private experience. Our fitting suites can fit up to 3 guests comfortably. We also feel that this small number of guests reduces too many opinions and allows you to solely think what you would like.
How do I pay for my Wedding Dress?
Will my dress fit perfectly?
All our gowns are measured to the nearest standard size and your stylist will discuss your measurements with you at your first appointment. Unless you are that very lucky one where your dress fits like a glove then nearly all of our gowns will require some alteration as none of them are made to your exact measurements.
What do I do if my Dress needs altering?
I intend to lose weight before my wedding, how will this affect my alterations?
When will I collect my gown?
You can store your wedding dress within our boutique, If you require alterations we will arrange these with our seamstress, if you have choosen your own you can collect your dress from us and return it back to store if needs be. then we advise you collect your gown a week prior to your wedding date. This ensures you have plenty of time to check your gown over and leave yourself time to complete those last minute wedding arrangements.
