You have probably seen we have had some epic veils arriving in our boutique, we recently purchased these when we went to Bridal Fashion Week. So we thought we would talk about how to walk in a wedding veil on your wedding day whilst wearing your wedding dress.

When you wear your wedding dress as its very different to your everyday clothes it might take a practice to be able to walk confidently in your wedding dress, this will depend on the style wedding you have chosen you will quite possibly have to manoeuvre differently than normal on your wedding day, don't worry to much about this as we will give you lots of tips in your appointments with us. We will give you tips on how to walk around without getting your wedding dress train getting wrinkled, or how to sit in your wedding dress. If you're not a Wedding Belles Love Bride, then we will be covering this in our upcoming blogs.

So when it comes to your wedding day and your bridal veil,

Brides often wonder how do you move? This will all depend on the length of veil you have purchased. A shorter veil such as a blusher or a fingertip veil will be easier to manage on your wedding day than a cathedral length veil. Your veil will be the same as your wedding train it will gather together when you walk naturally, So as you turn corners the cathedral length veil will gather so you will need someone normally your maid of honour will be on standby to do thi

s for you, she will need to fluff your train and veil at the same time, just like when you walk down the aisle. You can use your arms to do this also, by holding the sides of the veils to lift your arms outwards this will enable the wind to keep your veil in place more. When sitting down, bring your veil to the side and place it at the side of your chair. this will stop you falling over all the material or it getting crumpled under your seat. Ov

er the day the longer the veil the more they pull on your hair and head. It will take some extra time to navigate with a long wedding veil, so keep this in mind when you choose your veil, think about your wedding day and what you want from your day. A long veil will need a slightly more care but they do look epic in photographs.

Take your time and enjoy your wedding day. Enjoy your wedding veil

Think about all the wedding photographs that you would like to treasure including your veil in these.
