Which wedding dress did you get married in?
I wore the beautiful Valencia by Stella York 8166, a breathtaking A-line wedding gown in a dreamy almond and ivory colourway. With its delicate ivory lace, bold floral details and flowing layers of soft tulle, it was everything I had ever dreamed of! 🤍✨ I couldn't have imagined saying “I do” in anything else! 🥹💕

How did you feel during your bridal journey with us?
I was so excited to start looking for my wedding dress, but I was also a little nervous as I didn’t really know what to expect. My mum and I booked an appointment at Wedding Belles with the intention of just trying on a few different styles to see what suited me and what I liked. We hadn’t even properly booked our venue at that point — we were going to do that the very next day!
We were getting married in August and booking everything in March, so we had quite a short time to plan everything. I had an idea of what I wanted and was pretty certain about the styles I liked and didn’t like.
The ladies at Wedding Belles were absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. They were so lovely, welcoming and friendly, and they put me at ease straight away. They encouraged me to try different styles, even ones I wouldn’t necessarily have chosen myself, and I’m so glad they did! I had such a wonderful experience, and I feel so lucky that my very first appointment was also the only bridal shop I needed to visit to find my dress.
What was your first dance song?
Our First Dance song was - Lonestar Amazed
The moment you knew it was the one?
I had picked out a couple of dresses that I wanted to try, and my mum had also chosen two for me. I was adamant that I didn’t want a dress with big flowers on it, so I was convinced I knew exactly what I was looking for!
After trying on a couple of the dresses I had chosen myself, I tried on one of the dresses my mum had picked out. It had the big flowers I was so certain I didn’t want, so I never expected to love it as much as I did!
As soon as I put it on, I just knew. It was the one! I honestly couldn’t believe it. We had gone in just to have a look and try on a few different styles, and there I was, falling in love with a dress that was the complete opposite of what I thought I wanted.
I was so shocked, excited and happy all at once. It just felt right, and I knew it was the dress I wanted to wear when I married Allyn. Looking back, I love that it was my mum who picked the dress that turned out to be the one!
How did your wedding day go?
Our wedding day on 28th August 2026 at The Wroxeter was everything we had dreamed of and more. It was such an exciting and emotional time, and being able to get ready with our daughter made the morning even more special. Having those precious moments together before the ceremony is something I will always treasure.
My maid of honour and bridesmaid were absolutely amazing throughout everything. They supported me, kept me going and never judged my craziness — even when I was adamant about burying sausages the night before the wedding! 😂 They were there for me through all the excitement, nerves and last-minute wedding madness, and I couldn’t have asked for better people by my side.
Then came the moment I got into my wedding dress. I felt so beautiful, and it suddenly all felt real. After all the planning and anticipation, I was finally getting ready to marry Allyn! I couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle and marry the man I love, with our beautiful children by our sides.
As I stood waiting to walk down the aisle, I felt a little nervous, but as soon as I saw Allyn waiting for me, with our son standing proudly by his side as his best man, I just couldn’t stop smiling. It was such a special moment, and all my nerves seemed to disappear. Seeing them both waiting for me made everything feel real, and I couldn’t wait to walk towards them and marry the man I love.
We were so lucky with the weather, too. We had sunshine and not a drop of rain, which made our outdoor ceremony even more perfect.
The whole day was just fantastic. Everything was so beautiful, everything came together perfectly, and it was filled with so much love, happiness and emotion. It was everything we could have wished for, and I honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing. It was one of the most special days of our lives, and a day we will cherish forever.
Any advice you'd give future brides?
My biggest piece of advice would be to keep an open mind and enjoy the experience. Don’t rule out a style just because it isn’t what you originally imagined, and don’t put too much pressure on yourself to find the perfect dress straight away.
Take someone special with you, trust the process and enjoy every moment. You might go in thinking you’re just having a look, like I did, and come out having found the one!
