Mrs & Mr Ward's Wedding Day

Tell us about your wedding day.

We became Mr and Mrs Ward on 20th August 2026, beginning our wedding day with our ceremony at Newcastle Registry Office, before continuing the celebrations at The Crown Wharf with our closest family and friends. 🤍

It was such a wonderful day, filled with love, laughter and so many special moments that we will treasure forever. Having everyone we love together to celebrate with us made it even more memorable.

Our beautiful photographs were captured by Adam Lowndes, giving us the most gorgeous memories to look back on and relive our wedding day for years to come.

The finishing touch was our stunning flowers, created by Hester Hough at A Pinch of Flower. They complemented the day beautifully and brought everything together perfectly.

A day full of love, happiness and memories, and the perfect beginning to life as Mr and Mrs Ward. 🤍

Which wedding dress did you get married in?

I chose Ophelia by Stella York 🤍

The moment I put her on, I knew she was the one. The beautiful A-line silhouette felt so flattering and effortless, while the nude underlayer made the incredible lace detailing really come to life.

What I loved most were the bold, romantic florals that flowed across the entire dress. They gave Ophelia such a soft, feminine feel while still making a statement, and she felt completely perfect for me. ✨

How did you feel during your bridal journey with us?

Not nervous at all came in looking for a dress I had seen modelled on Fb tried it on did love it but when trying mine of I just knew rhat was the one. I knew what I didnt want in a dress. but I felt at ease straight away and loved trying rhe different styles on

I came back a couple of time just to try on and every time I came back i just knew even more was the one I didnt want take it off!!! I did to some shot as well as I was trying to look weight so when looking at them made me feel even better.

What was your first dance song?

We didn't have a first dance lol but our song is Tennesse Whiskey teddy swims version!!

How did your wedding day go?

Everything just we to plan from start to finish has lunch a relaxing morning hair make up bit of brekkie. was on time!!!!! Room was just how I had asked for it. Stanley twin 2 was a little bugger at rhe ceremony!!! but hey ho hes 3! but we had the Silver service Waiters which we amazing absolutely made the day. Louise Fox captured it all as my content creator. We had Docs Magic in the eve (yes magic is real)!!! which everyone loved. I couldn't have asked for a better more perfect day.

Any advice you'd give future brides?

Just make sure you enjoy it too, the day goes so so quick. Don't stress if something is not done not perfect because no one knows about it but you!!! Dont worry about speaking to everyone either you are to busy and they are enjoying themselves anyway!!!!
