We celebrated our wedding day at the beautiful Priest House Hotel, Castle Donington, and it was everything we had hoped for and more.

From the moment the day began, we were surrounded by so much love, laughter, and happiness. Every detail came together perfectly, creating memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.

A huge thank you to Emily Bradley Photography for capturing every special moment so beautifully, allowing us to relive our day again and again.

Our stunning flowers were created by Parsley & Sage in Longton, adding the perfect finishing touch to such a magical celebration.

Which wedding dress did you get married in?

I chose Sarah by Madi Lane, and from the moment I tried it on, I knew it was the one.

The soft A line silhouette was so flattering and comfortable to wear, while the beautiful 3D lace appliqués added the most romantic detail. I especially loved the coloured undertone, which gave the dress so much depth and made the lace really stand out.

One of my favourite features was the elegant button back, which added a timeless touch and looked stunning from every angle.

It was everything I had imagined for my wedding day... romantic, elegant, and completely me ✨

How did you feel during your bridal journey with us?

Very very worried before hand being a bigger bride that nothing would look right, nothing would fit. Walked in to a personalised room ( at your old store ) which was a very nice touch to calm the nerves. You ladies were fabulous and very honest with me. You certainly know your stuff. I knew the minute I walked out and heard my friend gasped at me that that was my dress. Soon as I saw myself in the mirror I knew that was the dress for me. It fit almost perfect (downside to me being a shorty.)

How was your wedding day?

The day itself was fabulous glorious weather, catered for all seasons blankets, brollies and fans they went down a treat. Few mishaps on the day like the cake melted so emergency 'fake' cake was provided whilst the original was immediately cut up for the guests (perks of marrying in 30 degree heat. ) and I was so hot that I had to change out of my dress but proud I lasted till 1030pm, we opted for later ceremony at 3pm had canopies ans fizz then a bbq instead of sit down meal, no table plans no formalities we wanted a chilled day and thats what we got. We had a tepee, garden games for the kids so their parents could relax. We hardly saw the kids all day and evening

First Dance Song?

Our first dance was everything I do dave moffat version. We danced on our own for first verse and then had our 2 children join us (we did it all the wrong way around) and then everyone else for final Chorus.

Advice to future brides

My advice..... its your day go with your vision ignore opinions of others and relish every moment as it really flies by we married at 3pm and was gutted when they shouted last orders at the bar
