Working with the awesome Betti & Af AKA Wildflowercouple. We were able to portray a fun filled shoot intertwined with relaxed wedding vibes at the beautiful new venue, The Gasworks Sudbury. When I organised the shoot, I had some suppliers in mind… But I wanted to tailor the shoot for the couple. When I saw their Instagram, I scrolled through their images and the main word that came to my mind was VIBE. Fun vibes, relaxed wedding vibes, YES vibes, Love vibes. ALL the vibes basically! In September 2024, we had the absolute pleasure of attending Bridal Fashion Week Harrogate — one of the biggest highlights in the bridal industry calendar! Held at the beautiful Harrogate Convention Centre, the event brought together the best of the best — with over 350 bridal brands under one roof and an electric atmosphere filled with inspiration. Captivating Catwalks and Bridal Trends The catwalks were nothing short of magical. We saw the latest collections from top designers like Dando London, Ellis Bridals, Rachel Allan, and so many more. This year’s runway trends gave us all the feels — from dramatic sleeves and floral textures to clean, minimalist silhouettes that will truly make brides shine in 2025. It was amazing to see how each designer is putting their own spin on timeless romance. Choosing the Perfect New Dresses We spent hours carefully selecting new gowns to bring into Wedding Belles Love — and we genuinely cannot wait for you to see them! It had everything we wanted and felt like the perfect setting for our day. I wore a fitted Stella York wedding dress which felt timeless, elegant, and so special to wear. I added such a personal touch by creating my own flowers, which made the day feel even more meaningful. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I got married in Stella York style 7478, a long-sleeve wedding dress that felt both timeless and effortlessly glamorous. The bodice was adorned with intricate swirling lace that felt classic and romantic, and the plunging V-neckline with illusion tulle gave it a soft touch of modern elegance. The delicate lace sleeves layered over Chantilly lace added such beautiful detail, and the simple crepe skirt hugged my shape in the most flattering way. With lace appliqués trailing down to the chapel train, it felt sophisticated and truly special for our wedding day. How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I got married in Bobbi by Stella York, an A line wedding dress that felt so romantic and fun to wear. I loved the ruffled skirt which gave it a dreamy, modern edge, and it felt like the perfect balance of elegance and effortless bridal drama for our wedding day How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? Bridal Fashion Week London, in March 2023, we packed up our excitement (and our Saturday girl Sophie!) and headed down to London for Bridal Fashion Week — and what an amazing trip it was! The event was held in the heart of London, showcasing some of the biggest names in bridal fashion and setting the stage for the trends to come in 2024 and beyond. The atmosphere was incredible — full of energy, beautiful new designs, and industry insiders all sharing their passion for bridal style. Exploring the Latest Bridal Trends The catwalk shows were absolutely breathtaking, featuring everything from sleek, minimalist gowns to dramatic, embellished statement pieces. We were so excited to see trends like bold bows, daring splits, intricate lacework, and softer, floaty silhouettes making their way into the spotlight. It was the perfect opportunity to spot what’s going to be huge for our brides in the year ahead. We were lucky enough to have front row seats to the catwalk . That an experience it was! Being right up close meant we could take in every tiny detail, from the delicate beading to the movement of the fabrics as the models walked. It made such a difference seeing the dresses come to life, helping us choose styles that we know our brides will absolutely fall in love with. Making Memories Around London Outside of the show, we made the most of our time in the city. We visited the famous O2 Arena — ticking off another iconic London spot — and even stepped out of our comfort zones by trying octopus for the first time! (Let's just say... it was an experience!) Having Sophie with us made the trip even more special. Watching her take it all in — from the glitz of the catwalks to the energy of London itself — was such a proud moment for us as a team. These trips aren’t just about dresses, they’re about building memories and growing stronger together. Bringing Fresh Inspiration Home We left London feeling re-energised, inspired, and so ready to bring everything we experienced back to Wedding Belles Love.
