- What It Felt Like to Win Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday Award (And Why It Matters for Small Businesses in 2025 and Beyond)
Category: Multi Award Wining Award Recognition Staffordshire Being recognised by Theo Paphitis through Small Business Sunday wasn’t just an award, it was validation that small businesses built with heart really do get noticed. Winning Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday award is one of those moments that stops you in your tracks. A quiet pause where you realise just how far you have come. For us, this is not just a business win. It feels deeply personal. Wedding Belles Love has always been built with heart. Every decision, every long day, every risk has been taken with purpose and belief. To have that recognised by someone who truly understands the reality of small business, the graft, the uncertainty, the resilience, means more than we can put into words. This award matters to us because it reminds us that the hard moments count. The behind the scenes work that no one sees. The times we showed up when it would have been easier to step back. Being chosen for Small Business Sunday feels like someone quietly saying “we see you” and that validation is incredibly powerful. We are incredibly proud to now be part of the #SBS family and we genuinely cannot wait to meet Theo Paphitis in February, alongside so many other small business owners who have poured their hearts into their work just as we have. The thought of standing in a room full of people who truly understand this journey feels emotional and very special. This win has given us a renewed sense of confidence as we move forward. It has reminded us why we started, why we continue, and why Wedding Belles Love will always be about more than just dresses. It is about passion, purpose, and believing in what you are building even when the road feels uncertain. Support small businesses that dare to do things differently If you’re a bride to be looking for an award winning, community led bridal experience, we’d love to welcome you to Wedding Belles Love.
- An Exclusive Invitation: Curating Our Latest Collection at Hampton Manor
Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, Hampton Manor is more than just a venue; it is a retreat steeped in history, creativity, and culinary excellence. We were honoured to be invited for an exclusive event to view the latest collection that blended the artistry of bridal fashion with immersive experiences, including a hands on sourdough making workshop a testament to Hampton Manor’s ethos of craftsmanship and connection. A Catwalk of Romance: The Collection As the runway unfolded before us, we were captivated by the latest collection. Known for its textural romance and poetic silhouettes, this collection is a love letter to femininity, weaving together delicate embroidery, airy fabrics, and organic movement. Each gown felt like a story waiting to be told, exuding effortless grace with details that whisper rather than shout. The collection showcases ethereal layers of soft tulle, intricate floral appliqués, and fluid, dreamlike movement. Standout pieces included gowns with illusion lace bodices, billowing organza sleeves, and sweeping chapel-length trains each designed to embrace the bride in a moment of pure magic. Whether it was the understated elegance of a minimalist crepe silhouette or the grandeur of a voluminous A-line, each gown evoked a sense of timeless romance. A Fusion of Fashion and Artistry Beyond the exquisite gowns, our time at Hampton Manor was a celebration of heritage and creativity. The estate’s Michelin-starred kitchen garden philosophy inspired us as we rolled up our sleeves for a hands-on sourdough-making experience, a unique and thoughtful addition to our visit. Much like the artistry of designs, the process of crafting sourdough mirrored the patience, precision, and passion that goes into creating something truly special. Choosing the Dresses That Speak to Our Brides At Wedding Belles Love, we curate our collections with care and intention, selecting gowns that resonate with our brides’ dreams and emotions. The Ceres collection is designed for the bride who seeks beauty in simplicity, movement in stillness, and an embrace of modern romance. With its organic embroidery, whisper-soft fabrics, and effortless silhouettes, we knew this collection was destined to be part of our boutique. As we left Hampton Manor, inspired by both the craftsmanship of the gowns and the warmth of the experience, we felt even more excited to bring these designs to our brides. We cannot wait to introduce you to the latest collection, where each gown is a poetic embrace, ready to become part of your love story. - An Unforgettable Three Days at Hawkstone Hall: Event Choosing Our Next Collection
We were absolutely thrilled to attend an exclusive three-day event at the stunning Hawkstone Hall, where we had the privilege of experiencing the latest bridal collections. This event, packed with luxury, inspiration, and emotion, was a true celebration of bridal beauty. Arrival and Welcome Upon our arrival at Hawkstone Hall, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of the team, who made sure we felt right at home. After checking in and receiving our welcome packs, we had the opportunity to unwind and settle into the beautiful surroundings before the event kicked off. Day One: A Night of Celebration The first evening began with a welcome drinks reception in The Chapel, where we mingled with other guests and enjoyed the elegant atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the runway launch of the F25 collection, showcasing the collections, each offering a unique vision of bridal beauty. Dinner followed in The Saloon, where we enjoyed a delicious menu, with options like duck, seabass, and peach cheesecake. The evening provided the perfect chance to reflect on the stunning gowns we had just seen, each one more beautiful than the last. Day Two: Inspiration and Learning The second day of the event was filled with inspiration and learning. We started with a delightful lunch in The Saloon, followed by a Marketing Masterclass in The Cave, where we gained valuable insights into the bridal industry. In the evening, we returned to The Refectory for more welcome drinks and mingling, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the venue. The Collection: Romance in Every Detail When it came to the collection, we were swept away by the way it evoked an emotional connection through its poetic touch. The collection's simplicity was its greatest strength, with each gown designed to create a textural romance. Organic embroidery and soft, breathable fabrics evoked a sense of natural beauty, while the movement of a scarf catching the breeze added an ethereal quality to each design. This collection is perfect for a bride who seeks a dress that not only enhances her beauty but touches her soul. Day Three: Reflection and Farewell As the event came to a close on the third day, we enjoyed a final breakfast together before checking out of Hawkstone Hall. We left feeling inspired and full of admiration for the stunning collections, both of which captured different aspects of bridal beauty in ways we hadn’t experienced before. This three-day event was a perfect blend of luxury, learning, and, most importantly, breathtaking bridal designs. - Wedding Dress Shopping At Private Event at Fawsley Hall: Romance Meets History
At Wedding Belles Love, we had the absolute pleasure of attending an exclusive private event at the enchanting Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire. This wasn’t just a bridal showcase it was a celebration of beauty, artistry, and the timeless magic that makes shopping so special. A Venue Steeped in Legacy Fawsley Hall is a Tudor country estate with history woven into every wall. Once host to monarchs and nobility, its grandeur made the perfect stage for the unveiling new wedding dresses for Spring 2026 collections. Surrounded by rolling parkland, serene lakes, and awe-inspiring interiors, it was a setting that felt as romantic and unforgettable as the gowns themselves. The Great Hall, with its towering fireplace and centuries-old tapestries, set the tone for an event filled with elegance. It wasn’t just about viewing dresses; it was about experiencing them in a place where heritage and beauty go hand in hand. Choosing the Next Collection: The Catwalk Experience There’s nothing quite like the buzz of a catwalk. The lights dimmed, the music began, and suddenly the runway came alive with gowns that seemed to float down the aisle as if made for magic. Each look told a story soft lace vines catching the light, billowing sleeves that moved like poetry, and sleek silhouettes that radiated confidence. We were on the edge of our seats, notebooks in hand, whispering to each other every time a gown made our hearts skip a beat. “That’s a Wedding Belles bride!” became our favourite phrase of the night, as we imagined the smiles, the tears, and the unforgettable “yes to the dress” moments still to come. Choosing a new collection is never just about trends. It’s about instinct, emotion, and knowing our brides. The excitement of seeing those gowns glide past, knowing which ones would soon grace the rails of Wedding Belles Love, is a thrill we’ll never get tired of. It’s like falling in love over and over again with every single dress. Event Highlights A warm welcome in Fawsley Hall’s historic surroundings, blending hospitality with heritage. Exclusive previews of the Spring 2026 collection with its own mood, from soft romance to bold modern elegance. Inspiring conversations with fellow bridal experts, reminding us of the creativity and passion that make this industry so extraordinary. Bringing the Magic Home For us, attending a private event is about more than dresses. It’s about finding those special gowns that will make our brides shine. The catwalk moments, the historic atmosphere of Fawsley Hall, the connection to the artistry of Madi Lane all of it comes back to one purpose: making sure every Wedding Belles Love bride feels nothing short of extraordinary. And we can’t wait to share the gowns we fell in love with. After all, your dream dress might just be one of the ones that stole our hearts at Fawsley Hall.
- Why Most Brides Choose a Different Wedding Dress Than the One They Saved on Pinterest
Every bride arrives with a Pinterest board. Some have twenty saved wedding dresses. Some have hundreds. Some have been pinning your Pinterest wedding dress since before they were even engaged. And honestly? We love it. Pinterest is one of the best places to gather inspiration and start imagining what your wedding day might look like. It helps you discover styles, fabrics, necklines and designers you may never have come across otherwise. But after helping hundreds of brides find their wedding dress, we've noticed something surprising. Most brides choose a completely different dress to the one they spent months saving on Pinterest. Not because they were wrong. Not because they changed their mind. But because finding your wedding dress is very different from looking at photographs online. Brides Don't Save Dresses. They Save Feelings. This is probably the biggest misconception about Pinterest. When you're scrolling through hundreds of beautiful wedding dress images, you think you're choosing dresses. In reality, you're choosing emotions. You save a dress because it looks elegant. You pin another because it feels romantic. One catches your eye because it looks glamorous. Another because it feels timeless. Without even realising it, you're building a collection of feelings rather than a collection of dresses. The challenge is that Pinterest only shows you the finished image. It doesn't show you how the dress feels. How it moves. How it fits. How it makes you stand. Or most importantly, how it makes you feel when you're wearing it. What Pinterest Can't Tell You A photograph can be beautiful. But a wedding dress is something you experience. A fitted gown that looks incredible on a model might not make you feel comfortable. A simple dress you would normally scroll past could make you feel amazing. A neckline you've never considered could completely transform your confidence. A silhouette you never imagined wearing might suddenly feel like it was made for you. This is why bridal appointments are so powerful. For the first time, you're seeing yourself in the dress rather than seeing someone else wearing it. And that changes everything. The Dress You Save Isn't Always the Dress You Need One of our favourite moments during an appointment is when a bride tries on something she never expected to love. The bride who arrives convinced she wants a fitted dress and falls in love with an A line. The bride who swears she only wants sleeves and ends up choosing a strapless gown. The bride who says she hates sparkle and then cannot stop smiling in a dress covered in it. The bride who only pinned modern minimalist gowns and discovers she feels most like herself in romantic lace. It happens far more often than you might think. Not because the original choice was wrong. But because photographs can only tell part of the story. Your Wedding Dress Isn't About Following a Trend Social media is full of beautiful dresses. Every week there seems to be a new trend, a new designer or a new style everyone is talking about. But your wedding dress should never be about choosing what looks best on someone else's Instagram feed. It should be about choosing the dress that makes you feel incredible. The one that makes you stand a little taller. The one that makes you smile without even realising it. The one that feels like you. That feeling cannot be found through a screen. It can only be discovered when you start trying dresses on. Pinterest Shows Possibilities. Appointments Reveal the One. One of the biggest fears brides have before booking an appointment is worrying they don't know what they want. The truth is, most brides don't. And that's completely normal. You don't need to arrive with the perfect dress already chosen. You don't need to know every designer. You don't need to understand silhouettes, fabrics or bridal terminology. That's what we're here for. Our role isn't to tell you what to wear. It's to help you explore possibilities, discover what makes you feel amazing and guide you towards a dress that feels right for you. Sometimes that's exactly what was on your Pinterest board. And sometimes it's something you never pinned at all. Should You Still Bring Your Pinterest Board? Absolutely. Bring the screenshots. Bring the saved posts. Bring the inspiration. Bring every idea you've collected. Pinterest is a fantastic starting point and gives us valuable insight into the styles you're naturally drawn towards. But bring an open mind as well. Because the dress you fall in love with might not be the dress you've been staring at for the last six months. It might be the dress you almost didn't try on. The dress that surprised you. The dress that made everyone in the room go quiet. The dress that simply felt right. And if that happens, you're in very good company. Because that's exactly what happens to most brides. Ready to Discover What You Really Love? If you've been waiting to book because you're worried you haven't figured out your style yet, this is your sign to stop overthinking it. You don't need all the answers before your appointment. You just need an open mind and a willingness to explore. We'll help with the rest. Book your private bridal appointment at Wedding Belles Love and discover the dress that feels even better than the one you saved on Pinterest.
- Where Can I Try On Plus Size Wedding Dresses in Staffordshire?
If you are looking for somewhere to try on plus size wedding dresses in Staffordshire, one of the most important questions to ask a bridal boutique before booking is: “What sizes do you physically have available for me to try?” Not simply: “Can you order a wedding dress in my size?” There is a big difference. Many bridal designers offer wedding dresses in an inclusive range of sizes, but that does not necessarily mean every boutique carries those sizes as physical samples. At Wedding Belles Love in Stone, Staffordshire, our wedding dress samples are physically available to try across sizes 4 to 36, with a dedicated selection of plus size wedding dresses available for brides who need larger sample sizes. Because you should be able to actually experience wedding dresses on your body. Not just look at them on a hanger and be asked to imagine. Where Can I Try Plus Size Wedding Dresses in Staffordshire? There are bridal boutiques across Staffordshire offering wedding dresses in extended size ranges, but the number of plus size dresses physically available to try will vary considerably between shops. Before booking an appointment, ask the boutique what sample sizes it actually has in store. Wedding Belles Love is an independent, family run bridal boutique based in Stone, Staffordshire. Our overall bridal collection includes wedding dress samples physically available to try in sizes 4 to 36. This means our collection serves brides across a broad range of body shapes and sizes, including petite and smaller size brides, mid size brides and plus size brides. We believe size inclusivity should mean more than being able to order a dress from a catalogue. It should mean having genuine options to put on your body. What Is Considered Plus Size in Wedding Dresses? This is where bridal sizing can become confusing. Wedding dress sizing is not always the same as the size you normally wear on the high street. You might wear one size in your everyday clothes and need a different number on the label of your wedding dress. That is completely normal. Bridal designers use their own individual size charts, and sizing can vary between designers and collections. This is why we never want brides to become emotionally attached to the number sewn into a dress. The number is simply information used to help us find and order the appropriate gown. It does not define your body. It certainly does not determine how incredible you can look in a wedding dress. What Sizes Can I Try at Wedding Belles Love? Wedding Belles Love has wedding dress samples physically available to try in sizes 4 to 36. That distinction matters. When researching bridal boutiques, you may see phrases such as: “Available up to size 30.” “Can be ordered up to size 34.” “Designer available in plus sizes.” These statements can all be true while the boutique itself has very few larger sample dresses physically available. Always ask: “What sizes can I actually try during my appointment?” A wedding dress is something you need to experience. You want to see the neckline against your body. Feel how the bodice supports you. See where the waist sits. Move in the skirt. Look at yourself from different angles. And discover how you actually feel wearing it. That is very different from being shown a size 10 sample and told that it could theoretically be ordered in your size. Will I Have a Good Choice of Plus Size Wedding Dresses? This is another important question to ask before booking. Having one or two dresses in a larger sample size is not the same as having genuine choice. You should be able to explore different possibilities. Perhaps you think you want sleeves but discover you feel incredible in strapless. Maybe you have always assumed you need an A line dress and unexpectedly fall in love with something fitted. You might love clean, modern fabrics. Or romantic lace. Or sparkle. Or a dramatic train. You cannot properly discover your bridal style if your choices are restricted simply because of the size of the samples available. At Wedding Belles Love, we want brides to explore what they actually love rather than being automatically directed towards what somebody thinks they should wear for their body shape. Can Plus Size Brides Wear Fitted Wedding Dresses? Absolutely. One of the most outdated pieces of bridal advice is the idea that certain body shapes must wear certain silhouettes. Plus size brides do not have to wear A line dresses. Petite brides do not have to avoid ballgowns. Curvy brides do not have to hide their shape. And you do not have to choose sleeves simply because you feel conscious of your arms. A fitted wedding dress can look incredible on a curvier figure. The construction of the gown matters enormously. Internal corsetry, seam placement, fabric structure and the position of the waist can completely change how a dress feels on your body. This is why trying different silhouettes is so valuable. The dress you initially think will not suit you might be the dress that completely changes how you see yourself. What If the Wedding Dress Sample Doesn't Fit Me? This happens to brides of every size. Bridal boutiques work with sample dresses. They are not individually tailored to every bride who walks through the door. Sometimes a sample will be too large and your stylist will clip it so you can see how it would look fitted correctly. Sometimes a sample will be too small and will not close fully at the back. In that situation, modesty fabric can be used so you can still see the overall effect of the gown. This is normal bridal shopping. If you choose that wedding dress, the appropriate size is then ordered based on your measurements and the designer's size chart. Later, bridal alterations create the final fit. You are never expected to fit the sample perfectly. The sample is there to help you discover the dress. What If I Feel Nervous About Trying On Plus Size Wedding Dresses? You are far from the only bride who feels this way. We meet brides who have delayed wedding dress shopping because they are worried nothing will fit. Some have had difficult experiences shopping for clothes. Some have been told they should lose weight before looking for their dress. Others simply cannot imagine themselves as a bride yet. For some women, stepping into a bridal boutique feels incredibly vulnerable. That is why the experience matters just as much as the dresses. At Wedding Belles Love, bridal appointments take place in private bridal suites with one to one support from your bridal stylist. Our standard appointments are 90 minutes, with longer weekday experiences also available. There is no audience of other shoppers watching you try dresses. There is no expectation that you should know what suits you. And there is no pressure to become a different version of yourself before you deserve to find your wedding dress. You can simply arrive as you are. Should I Lose Weight Before Wedding Dress Shopping? You do not need to lose weight before you are allowed to enjoy wedding dress shopping. This is something we hear surprisingly often. “I'll book when I've lost another stone.” “I want to wait until I'm smaller.” “I don't want to see myself in a wedding dress yet.” If you personally want to make changes to your body, that is entirely your decision. But from a practical wedding dress perspective, repeatedly delaying your appointment can eventually reduce your ordering options. Many made to order designer wedding dresses can take approximately 6 to 10 months to arrive, followed by alterations. We generally recommend beginning your wedding dress search around 12 months before your wedding where possible. If you expect significant body changes between ordering and your wedding, tell your bridal stylist. They can talk you through sizing, ordering and alterations based on your individual circumstances. Are Plus Size Wedding Dresses More Expensive? This depends on the bridal designer and individual gown. Some designers may apply an additional charge above certain sizes because more fabric, lace, structure or embellishment is required to create the gown. Others structure their pricing differently. A reputable bridal boutique should explain any applicable charges before you order your dress. Never be afraid to ask for the full price. At Wedding Belles Love, our typical made to order wedding dresses are approximately £1,700 to £2,500, with selected boutique sample dresses starting from approximately £1,197 and separate sale or clearance gowns occasionally available for less. Your stylist should always work with the budget you feel comfortable spending. Which Designer Wedding Dresses Are Available for Plus Size Brides? Different bridal designers offer different size ranges, which is another reason to research before visiting a boutique. At Wedding Belles Love, our collections include Stella York, alongside our customisable Mavery Hugh collection and The Edit, our limited availability bridal collection. Stella York is known for offering a broad variety of bridal styles, including structured gowns, romantic lace, fitted silhouettes, ballgowns and modern designs. However, the designer label should only be part of your decision. What matters during your appointment is finding a gown that feels right when you put it on. Can I Customise a Plus Size Wedding Dress? Depending on the dress and designer, customisation may be possible. You might want to add straps. Change a neckline. Add sleeves. Alter the amount of sparkle. Choose a different fabric. Or combine elements that make the dress feel more personal. Our Mavery Hugh collection at Wedding Belles Love offers customisable wedding dress options. Depending on the individual design, elements including fabrics, necklines, skirts, sleeves, straps, glitter and lace placement may be changed. Customisation should be about creating something you love. Not about covering parts of your body because somebody has decided they need hiding. How Do I Choose a Plus Size Bridal Boutique? Look beyond the words “size inclusive.” Ask practical questions. What sizes do you physically have available to try? How many dresses will I realistically be able to explore? Do you have different silhouettes in larger sample sizes? Are appointments private? What is your typical wedding dress price range? Which designers do you stock? How do your stylists handle samples that are too small or too large? And then read the reviews. Pay particular attention to brides who arrived feeling nervous, self conscious or worried about sizing. How a boutique made those brides feel will often tell you far more than an Instagram photograph ever could. Where Can I Try Plus Size Wedding Dresses Near Stone, Stafford and Stoke on Trent? Wedding Belles Love is based in Stone, Staffordshire, welcoming brides from across Staffordshire and surrounding areas. Our wedding dress samples are physically available to try across sizes 4 to 36, including a dedicated selection of plus size bridal samples. Our brides visit us from Stone, Stafford, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Cannock and across the wider Staffordshire area. Appointments take place in private bridal suites with one to one styling. Wedding Belles Love was established in 2017 and is an independent, family run, multi award winning bridal boutique. But whether you visit us or another bridal shop, our advice is the same: Ask what you can actually try before you book. Because “available in your size” and “available to try in your size” are not always the same thing. So, Where Should I Shop for Plus Size Wedding Dresses in Staffordshire? The best plus size bridal boutique for you will depend on your size, style, budget and the experience you want. Look for somewhere that gives you genuine choice. Somewhere you can explore different silhouettes rather than being told what your body is supposed to wear. Somewhere that is transparent about pricing and sample sizes. And somewhere you feel comfortable enough to actually enjoy the experience. If you are looking for plus size wedding dresses in Staffordshire, Wedding Belles Love in Stone may be one of the boutiques worth adding to your list. With wedding dress samples physically available to try across sizes 4 to 36, private bridal suites and designer, customisable and limited availability collections, our aim is simple. To help you find the wedding dress that makes you stop looking at the size label and start looking at you. Frequently Asked Questions Where can I try plus size wedding dresses in Staffordshire? Wedding Belles Love in Stone, Staffordshire has wedding dress samples physically available to try across sizes 4 to 36, including a dedicated selection of plus size bridal samples. When comparing boutiques, always ask which sizes are physically available to try rather than only which sizes can be ordered. What is considered plus size in bridal? Bridal sizing varies between designers and does not always correspond directly with high street clothing sizes. Each bridal designer uses its own size chart, so the number on a wedding dress label may be different from your usual clothing size. Can plus size brides wear fitted wedding dresses? Yes. There are no rules saying plus size brides must wear a particular silhouette. Fitted dresses, A line gowns, ballgowns and many other shapes can look beautiful depending on the individual dress, its construction and how you feel wearing it. - Becky & Shane Turgyan Wedding Day
Tell us about your wedding day. We were married on 20th June 2026 at the beautiful Swan With Two Necks Tipi, surrounded by our closest family and friends. From the moment the celebrations began, it was everything we had hoped for and more, filled with love, laughter and memories we'll treasure forever. 🤍 The relaxed atmosphere and stunning setting of the tipi created the perfect backdrop for our special day, making every moment feel magical and uniquely ours. Our incredible photographer, Lucas Vale Photography, captured every detail so beautifully. From the happy tears to the biggest smiles, the photographs tell the story of our day perfectly and allow us to relive those precious memories again and again. One of the most special touches of all was our flowers, lovingly created by my mum. Seeing her bring our vision to life made the day even more meaningful, and the beautiful arrangements added a personal touch that we will always cherish. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I chose Arabella by Mavery Hugh 🤍 The moment I put her on, I knew she was something special. The silhouette felt effortlessly beautiful, creating a look that was both flattering and confidence boosting, while the exquisite lace detailing added a touch of softness and luxury. What made her even more meaningful is that Arabella is part of the Mavery Hugh, exclusive private collection designed especially for Wedding Belles Love brides. ✨ How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I was really nervous, I was coming in on my own after a bad experience buying a dress under pressure that I didn't really want and then it went wrong during alterations, leaving me with little time to pick/order a new one. I was dreading my wedding day, everyone around me was very excited and wondered what my dress was like & I just felt very alone and almostA depressed about it as I had a disaster of a dress. I rang Wedding Belles Love in a panic and Darci was very kind & understanding and got me in the next day assuring me they could help & find something that would work for me. Darci & Claire were both so lovely & such a calming influence, they let me look at their collection and also picked out dresses they thought I would like and tbh they nailed it. They found me a perfect dress. I didn't try many on and when I put on what became my dress it just felt good, I believe it flattered/suited me, it felt so special. Wedding Belles Love gave me such a nice experience being on my own and let me retry each dress to ensure I got the right one and advised me as a friend would. What was your first dance song? James Arthur, Say you won't let go The moment you knew it was the one? I just liked my reflection in the mirror when I put it on, it felt like my dress. I tried on a couple of others after it and I went back to this one. It was classic, timeless & elegant. I felt like myself but bridal & it was probably one of the quickest decisions I've made in a long time!. How did your wedding day go? My wedding day was perfect, the getting ready was lovely and calm, I didn't feel too nervous. I had amazing bridesmaids that couldn't do enough to ensure I was looked after. The dress had arrived and I was excited to wear it. I had such a great day, everyone was in such good spirits and loved the dress. The atmosphere was magical, a feeling that can't be replicated and if I could relive it I would jump at the chance. Any advice you'd give future brides? Don't go to a dress outlet & feel pressured into buying a dress and various other accessories that they insist you need, FYI they work on commison. If you are unsure about a dress, its not the right one, walk away. When u put the right one on, u know! I couldn't understand getting so upset over a dress but like Claire told me, it's not 'just a dress, it's something so much more than that', and she's right it really is so much more, it's so special and you deserve to feel like the best version of you on a completely magical day. Cherish your wedding day because there is honestly no feeling like it.

- Fitted Stella York Wedding Dresses: Three Stunning New Arrivals to Try On

Or the instant your whole energy changes and you just know… this is the one. There is something undeniably powerful about fitted Stella York wedding dresses. It is not just about the silhouette though that is certainly part of the magic. It is about how you feel when you move in it. The confidence that comes from a gown that knows exactly where it is going. At Wedding Belles Love, we have just welcomed three absolutely stunning fitted Stella York wedding dresses into our curated selection, and honestly? We cannot stop talking about them. This latest collection perfectly blends effortless romantic style with contemporary fashion sensibility. These designer wedding dresses are beautiful on a hanger but right on your body. They are the kind of dresses that build confidence and comfort. And that is exactly why we think you need to experience them in person. Why Fitted Wedding Dresses Are Having a Moment in 2026 Let's be honest: fitted wedding dresses are softer, lighter, and far more modern right now. In 2026, brides are moving away from the idea that bigger is always better. Instead, we are seeing a real shift toward gowns that celebrate your body, honor your shape, and make you feel completely yourself. A fitted dress isn't about restriction it is about intention. When you choose a fitted silhouette from Stella York, you are embracing feminine and stylish designs featuring soft silhouettes, flattering waistlines, and modern yet timeless accents. You are getting: Thoughtful tailoring: Architectural design that highlights your natural shape without compromising on ease. Built-in support: Internal construction that allows you to feel secure and comfortable in your movement all day long, so you are ready for that epic party later in the evening. Modern romance: A contemporary fashion sensibility that blends effortless romantic style with clean, sophisticated lines. The three Stella York dresses we are featuring today are beautiful examples of this modern approach to bridal elegance. Each one offers something different, but they all share one thing in common: they are designed to make you feel extraordinary. Meet the Latest Stella York Collection Stella York Style 8251: The Architectural Romance Let's start with a gown that gives you options, because we believe your wedding dress should feel like you, not like everyone else. Stella York Style 8251 is a masterclass in versatility and contemporary fashion sensibility. This strapless Mikado mermaid features a beautifully structured silhouette that flares into a sweeping train the kind of dramatic, confident shape that makes an entrance unforgettable. Here is what we love: you get to choose. Want delicate floral appliqués with shimmering clear beading for a romantic, textured look? You've got it. Prefer the trendy minimalism of pure Mikado with a clean, unadorned finish? That is available too. This is a gown that adapts to your vision, not the other way around. The internal construction is thoughtfully designed with a mini inner corset for support, and you can choose between a classic lace-up back or a streamlined zipper with fabric buttons. The result? A gown that feels secure, moves beautifully, and looks absolutely stunning from every angle. And here is something we are particularly proud of: this gown is available in sizes 4 to 36, because every bride deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and genuinely supported in a dress that fits her body. Stella York Style 8346+: The Sculpted Elegance Now, let's talk about a gown that is all about the details. Stella York Style 8346+ is a stunning example of how thoughtful tailoring can completely transform a silhouette. This strapless beauty features asymmetrical ruching that wraps around the figure, highlighting your natural shape before flowing into a dramatic fit-and-flare skirt. What makes this gown special is the intention behind every seam. The ruching isn't just decorative it is architectural. It is designed to flatter, to celebrate, to make you feel confident and secure. The Mikado fabric is luminous and structured, giving you that polished aesthetic that feels both trendy and completely timeless. Like Style 8251, this gown offers closure options: a traditional lace-up or a hidden zipper beneath fabric buttons that trail down the train. The result is a sharp, tailored finish that maintains the gown's beautiful lines throughout your entire day. Part of the EveryBride collection, this gown is a beautiful reminder that we stock and style wedding dresses for real bodies, offering incredible support and style for sizes 18 to 34 and beyond. Stella York Style 8332: The Modern Romantic And finally, the gown that might just give you that unforgettable yes moment. Stella York Style 8332 is romance with a modern edge. This trumpet gown is meticulously crafted from delicate lace and romantic tulle, offering a sophisticated silhouette that celebrates your natural form. The strapless sweetheart bodice is adorned with intricate floral lace and shimmering beading that sits atop glitter tulle for a multi-dimensional glow. It features airy layers, whimsical textures, stylish necklines, and thoughtfully placed embellishment that feel incredibly special. This is the gown for the bride who wants to feel beautiful, romantic, and completely herself bringing a touch of modern fairytale magic to her day without losing that light, effortless feel. The lace-detailed train is finished with a classic zip-up closure and fabric buttons, and the overall effect is one of effortless elegance. It is the kind of dress that photographs beautifully, moves beautifully, and makes you feel like the best version of yourself. And yes this gown is also available in our EveryBody EveryBride sizing, because beauty and celebration belong to every bride, no matter her shape, size, style, or budget. Why These Three Deserve a Spot in Your Appointment Here is the thing about fitted dresses: they are not one-size-fits-all (literally or figuratively). Each of these gowns offers a different energy, a different story, a different way of celebrating who you are. Maybe you are drawn to the architectural precision of Style 8251. Maybe the sculpted elegance of Style 8346+ speaks to your soul. Or maybe Style 8332's romantic shimmer is exactly what you have been imagining. The only way to know? To try them on. Bring your hype squad, take a deep breath, and let yourself experience the magic. And that is where the real magic happens. Because when you step into one of these gowns—when you feel the weight of the fabric, see how it moves with your body, catch that moment in the mirror where everything just clicks—that is when you know. That is when confidence isn't something you are chasing. It is something you are living. - The Truth About Wedding Dress Shopping: What Nobody Tells Brides Before Their First Appointment
There is a huge misconception about wedding dress shopping. So here is some truth about wedding dress shopping. Many brides believe they are supposed to walk into a bridal boutique, put on the very first dress, burst into tears, and instantly know they have found the one. The truth is, when wedding dress shopping for most brides, it does not happen that way. At Wedding Belles Love, we meet hundreds of brides every year, and one thing we have learned is that every bridal journey is different. Some brides know exactly what they want. Others arrive feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin. If that sounds familiar, we want you to know something important. You are already doing it right. Searching for designer wedding dresses in Staffordshire should feel exciting, not stressful. Your appointment should be about discovering what makes you feel incredible, not trying to live up to expectations. Here are a few things nobody tells brides before their first appointment. 1. You Probably Will Not Choose The Dress You Saved On Pinterest Pinterest is a wonderful source of inspiration, but it is not a rule book. Many brides arrive with a folder full of saved dresses and leave with something completely different. Why? Because photographs cannot show you how a dress moves, feels, or makes you carry yourself. The dress you fall in love with often surprises you. Stay open minded and trust the process. 2. Your Dress Size Does Not Define You This is one of the biggest worries we hear. Bridal sizing is completely different from high street sizing, and the number on the label means absolutely nothing. Your body is not the problem. The right dress is designed to work with your shape, celebrate your curves, and make you feel comfortable and confident. Please do not put pressure on yourself to change before your appointment. Come exactly as you are. 3. You Do Not Need To Lose Weight To Start Wedding Dress Shopping We wish every bride knew this. Your appointment is not a finish line you have to earn. Whether you plan to make changes before your wedding day or not, you deserve to feel beautiful now. The right dress should make you feel amazing in this moment, not six months from now. 4. Feeling Nervous Is Completely Normal Even the most confident brides feel nervous before their appointment. You may be worried about being the centre of attention. You may worry that nothing will suit you. You may even worry that you will not have that magical moment everyone talks about. Take a deep breath. You are not expected to know everything. That is our job. We are here to guide you every step of the way. 5. Your Wedding Dress Should Feel Like You Trends come and go. The most important question is not, "Is this fashionable?" It is, "Do I feel like myself?" Your wedding dress should never wear you. It should enhance who you already are. When you find the right one, you will not feel like you are pretending to be somebody else. You will simply feel like the best version of yourself. 6. Your Bridal Appointment Should Never Feel Like A Sales Pitch At Wedding Belles Love, we believe your experience matters just as much as your dress. Our brides are welcomed into a warm and supportive environment where there is no pressure and no expectations. We take time to get to know you, understand your vision, and help you explore beautiful designer wedding dresses in Staffordshire that genuinely suit your personality, style, and comfort. This is your experience. There is no rush. No pressure. No right or wrong answers. Just honest guidance and genuine excitement to help you discover your dress. Your Moment Will Come There is a moment during every appointment where something shifts. It might be a smile. It might be a quiet pause in front of the mirror. Or it might simply be the feeling that everything suddenly makes sense. That moment cannot be forced. It happens naturally when you stop trying to become somebody else and start embracing exactly who you are. And when it happens, you will know. Ready To Begin Your Journey? If you are ready to discover beautiful designer wedding dresses in Staffordshire, we would love to welcome you to Wedding Belles Love. Book your appointment and let us help you find a dress that feels like you, because every bride deserves to feel confident, celebrated, and completely herself.
