Tell us about your wedding day. We got married at Sandy Cove Hotel, and from the moment we saw it we knew it was the one. The coastal setting was breathtaking and felt like the perfect backdrop for our day. I wore a Stella York A line wedding dress which felt timeless, elegant, and effortless to wear. The flowers by North Devon Flower Farm added the most beautiful natural finishing touches, and every special moment was captured so perfectly by Newshoots Photography. The whole day was filled with love, emotion, and memories we will treasure forever. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I got married in Cecelia by Stella York. It was a lacey romantic A line wedding dress made from tulle fabric, with elegant full sleeves and key hole back that added a modern edge. The structure of the dress felt incredible to wear and was so easy to wear all day! How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? Going to Wedding Belles was more than just choosing a dress, it was an experience. Having the shop to ourselves as we browsed and tied beautiful ribbons onto the dresses,was such a wonderful experience. Clare’s care and passion for a brides experience is amazing, she is patient and knowledgable on her dresses. The dresses are stunning and with such an incredible range it wasn’t hard to find my dream dress, with the support of Clare’s knowledge on how dresses can be adapted to suit my style. All of the additional touches make it so very special, the welcome sign with my name, the confetti cannon, the photo montage of our bridal party were wonderful. Alongside that the beautiful bag and personalised cups my daughters and I got was such so sweet and made my daughters feel included and special.

Tell us about your wedding day. We had the most magical wedding day at The Old Mill, surrounded by so much love, laughter and happiness. It was everything we could have wished for and more, with beautiful memories we'll treasure forever. 🤍 I wore the stunning Mirriam by Stella York, which made me feel absolutely beautiful on our special day. I wore Mirriam by Stella York, a stunning princess-style satin wedding dress that made me feel like a real-life princess. It was everything I had dreamed of and more, and I couldn’t have imagined saying “I do” in anything else! 🤍 How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I felt excited but also nervous as I’m a bit bigger than the average women and I thought I wouldn’t be able to fit in any dresses! However the team were incredible and made me feel so comfortable! They listened to my worries and helped me to feel at ease! I couldn’t have imagined picking my dress with any other team! What was your first dance song? Still into you (First dance cover) - Isabella Kensington How did your wedding day go? Wedding day with perfect! Started if really chilled, getting hair and makeup done and singing to music! Ceremony was incredible my dad walked me down the aisle despite being a double leg amputee and being in pain! (I’ll send another photo through) we did our own vows and had a celebrant (Danni - WIth Love celebrany) and that was one of the best decisions! Our ceremony was so personal and all about us which made it so special!! The rest of the day we drank, we ate beautiful food from The Gentleman Smoker, we cried, we laughed and it’s was just perfect! I wouldn’t change a thing! Any advice you'd give future brides? 1. Don’t worry about the little things! 2. It’s normal if you don’t remember much the next day! Regardless of how much you drink! With that being said if you can afford a videographer then GET ONE!! That was the best decision ever as now we can re-live the day forever! 3. Remember it your day! Do what makes your heart smile! 4. Make sure you spend some time just the two of you!! And try not to be separated for too long long!

What happens at Bridal Week before the wedding dresses ever reach the boutique? When you walk into Wedding Belles Love and see a rail filled with beautiful wedding dresses, you are seeing the end of a process that actually started months earlier. Before a dress ever arrives in our boutique in Stone, we have travelled, watched, touched, compared, talked, questioned and eventually chosen it. And this September, that took us back to Harrogate Bridal Week. Except this year felt a little different. Darci and I found ourselves sitting at our own table right at the front of the catwalk, watching the newest bridal collections come down the runway close enough to see the lace, fabrics, structure, movement and tiny details. We had access to the latest collections. We were buying the next Stella York gowns for Wedding Belles Love. We were catching up with suppliers who have watched our journey. And somewhere amongst all of it, I had one of those very rare moments where I actually stopped. This was a bit of a pinch me moment. Because sometimes when you are so busy building a business, you forget to look around and see how far it has actually come. What Is Harrogate Bridal Week? Harrogate Bridal Week is a bridal trade event where bridal boutiques, designers and suppliers come together to see upcoming collections and discover what is happening next within bridal fashion. For us, it is not simply a lovely couple of days looking at wedding dresses. It is part of buying for Wedding Belles Love. We get to see what designers are creating before many of those dresses eventually make their way into bridal boutiques. We can look at emerging trends across the wider bridal industry, including collections from designers we do not currently stock. And that matters. Because understanding bridal fashion should never stop at the designers already hanging on your own rails. We want to know what is changing. What fabrics are appearing. What silhouettes designers are developing. What details keep appearing across different collections. And, perhaps most importantly, which of those trends we genuinely think our own brides will want to wear. Front Row at the Bridal Catwalks One of the highlights of Harrogate was having front row tables at the catwalks. And when we say front row, we really do mean front row. Sitting that close completely changes how you see a wedding dress. You can see how the fabric moves when the model walks. You notice the structure of the bodice. You see how lace sits against the skin. You spot details that simply do not translate in a photograph. And you begin thinking about the bride who might eventually wear it. That is the part of buying that we love. We are not looking at a dress and simply asking: “Is this beautiful?” There are hundreds of beautiful wedding dresses. We are asking: “Would our brides love this?” Would it work on the women we actually welcome through our doors? Is it comfortable? How does it move? Does it give us something we do not already have? What sizes will we want to sample it in? Does it earn its place on our rails? Because every dress we buy is ultimately bought for one of you. Seeing the Trends Before They Reach the Rails Harrogate also gives us the opportunity to look beyond our own collections. We watched catwalks and explored new designs from brands we do not currently stock, giving us a much wider picture of where bridal fashion is heading. That does not mean we chase every trend. Quite the opposite. One of the biggest things we have learned as Wedding Belles Love has grown is that a fashionable dress is not automatically the right dress for our boutique. We know our brides much better now. We know what they pick up. We know what they put back. We know which dresses get that second look from across the room. And we know the gowns that brides might initially walk straight past, only to completely fall in love with once they try them on. So we look at trends through the eyes of the brides who actually come through our door. That influences every buying decision we make. Buying the Next Stella York Collection Of course, one of the biggest parts of the trip was buying our next Stella York collection. We are an authorised Stella York retailer and our relationship with the brand has become an incredibly important part of Wedding Belles Love. At Harrogate, we selected new gowns that will begin arriving towards the end of the year. That means some of the wedding dresses we were looking at on the catwalk and during buying appointments will eventually be hanging inside our boutique in Stone, ready for our brides to try. There is something quite special about that. We see them at the very beginning. Then months later, one of our brides steps into one of them. And occasionally, that dress becomes her wedding dress. And Then There Are the Dresses We Can't Show You... There was another buying appointment at Harrogate too. The Edit. And this one is slightly different. These gowns form part of a much more limited collection at Wedding Belles Love. We cannot simply photograph them all and put them online. We cannot show you every dress on social media. And that is exactly part of what makes this collection so interesting. Some things still have to be discovered in person. So yes, we chose dresses. No, we aren't showing you. You'll have to come and discover those yourselves. 🤍 The Part of Bridal Week That Isn't Really About Dresses Some of our favourite moments at Harrogate did not happen on the catwalk at all. They happened in conversations. We met up with suppliers we have built relationships with over the years. There were hugs. There were inspiring conversations. There was plenty of catching up. And there were people who knew where Wedding Belles Love was twelve months ago who could now see just how much had changed. Sometimes someone outside your business sees your progress more clearly than you do. When you are inside it every day, you see the jobs that still need doing. The targets you have not reached yet. The next problem. The next idea. The next goal. Other people sometimes see something completely different. They see how far you have already travelled. Those conversations at Harrogate reminded us of that. Bridal Business, But Also Two Humans Who Needed Feeding Harrogate wasn't entirely serious. We stayed at The Fat Badger in Harrogate, with our hotel and breakfast included as part of our Stella York Platinum Buyer experience. And after days filled with dresses, buying and talking bridal, there was also time to actually enjoy being there. One evening we met up with Love & Lace Bridal and headed out for a Turkish meal. There was food. There was a shared bottle of wine. There was plenty of bridal business chat. And probably quite a lot of talking about wedding dresses considering we had spent the entire day surrounded by them. Because some of the best relationships in this industry have become much more than exchanging emails and placing orders. Our Stella York Platinum Buyer Experience Being looked after by Stella York as a Platinum Buyer was another one of those moments that made this Harrogate trip feel particularly special. Our experience included our hotel stay, breakfast and hospitality while we were there. These things are lovely. Of course they are. But for us, the bigger thing is what sits behind them. It is the relationship we have built. When we look back at where Wedding Belles Love started and then find ourselves at Harrogate choosing future collections, being looked after by one of our major designers and sitting front row watching the next bridal trends arrive... That is when it hits you. We actually built this. A Little Pinch Me Moment I am not always very good at celebrating the wins. I tend to reach something and immediately start thinking about what needs to happen next. There is always another target. Another idea. Another part of Wedding Belles Love I want to improve. But sitting at that table at the front of the Harrogate catwalk with Darci was different. For a moment, I looked around. At the designers. At the dresses. At the suppliers we now know well enough to greet with hugs. At the collections we were choosing. At my daughter sitting there beside me. And I thought: How did this become our life? Wedding Belles Love has changed enormously, particularly over the last twelve months. Sometimes you need to physically leave the boutique to be able to see it. Harrogate gave us that moment. But What Does Any of This Mean for Our Brides? This is actually the most important part. Going to Bridal Week isn't about us being able to say we had front row seats. It isn't really about the hotel. Or the breakfast. Or even the lovely meal and bottle of wine. It is about access. It means we can see what is coming next. We can look beyond our existing rails. We can see dresses move rather than choosing purely from photographs. We can talk directly with designers and suppliers. We can ask questions. We can compare collections. And then we can make better decisions about which wedding dresses deserve a place at Wedding Belles Love. Because we do not want hundreds of dresses simply for the sake of saying we have hundreds of dresses. We want a considered collection chosen for the brides who actually walk through our doors. And We May Have Done Something Else at Harrogate... There is one more thing we haven't told you about yet. Something happened at Harrogate that marks another pretty significant step for Wedding Belles Love. We aren't announcing it in this blog. It deserves its own story. I chose Jenica by Madi Lane 🤍 The moment I put her on, I knew she was the one. Jenica felt romantic, feminine and completely me, and I loved how beautiful I felt wearing her. What I loved most was how effortlessly elegant she felt. She gave me that perfect bridal feeling without feeling too much, and I could genuinely picture myself walking down the aisle to Ben in her. ✨ How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I felt really really excited before my appointment and remember opening a voice message from Wedding Belles which made me feel so welcome and reassured. I had the warmest welcome for my appointment and felt so special. The dresses are absolutely gorgeous and I loved choosing which ones to try on with my loved ones. Amazing experience from start to finish with the best team! My wedding dress was the second I tried on and I knew straight away it was the one. I felt so so happy but also like myself in the dress and couldn't stop smiling. I did try on other dresses after but I couldn't stop thinking about dress 2 and knew nothing else would compare. Our wedding was better than we ever could have hoped and every moment we will cherish forever. The people we shared our wedding with were incredible and I felt so lucky to have so many people I love around me. Any advice you'd give future brides? My advice for future brides would be to do everything in their own way. Go with the flow on your wedding day after all the preparations, make sure you spend time with your partner.

Tell us about your wedding day. We were married on 20th June 2026 at the beautiful Swan With Two Necks Tipi, surrounded by our closest family and friends. From the moment the celebrations began, it was everything we had hoped for and more, filled with love, laughter and memories we'll treasure forever. 🤍 The relaxed atmosphere and stunning setting of the tipi created the perfect backdrop for our special day, making every moment feel magical and uniquely ours. Our incredible photographer, Lucas Vale Photography, captured every detail so beautifully. From the happy tears to the biggest smiles, the photographs tell the story of our day perfectly and allow us to relive those precious memories again and again. One of the most special touches of all was our flowers, lovingly created by my mum. Seeing her bring our vision to life made the day even more meaningful, and the beautiful arrangements added a personal touch that we will always cherish. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I chose Arabella by Mavery Hugh 🤍 The moment I put her on, I knew she was something special. The silhouette felt effortlessly beautiful, creating a look that was both flattering and confidence boosting, while the exquisite lace detailing added a touch of softness and luxury. I was really nervous, I was coming in on my own after a bad experience buying a dress under pressure that I didn't really want and then it went wrong during alterations, leaving me with little time to pick/order a new one. I was dreading my wedding day, everyone around me was very excited and wondered what my dress was like & I just felt very alone and almostA depressed about it as I had a disaster of a dress. I rang Wedding Belles Love in a panic and Darci was very kind & understanding and got me in the next day assuring me they could help & find something that would work for me. Darci & Claire were both so lovely & such a calming influence, they let me look at their collection and also picked out dresses they thought I would like and tbh they nailed it. They found me a perfect dress. I didn't try many on and when I put on what became my dress it just felt good, I believe it flattered/suited me, it felt so special. Wedding Belles Love gave me such a nice experience being on my own and let me retry each dress to ensure I got the right one and advised me as a friend would. What was your first dance song? James Arthur, Say you won't let go The moment you knew it was the one? I just liked my reflection in the mirror when I put it on, it felt like my dress. I tried on a couple of others after it and I went back to this one. It was classic, timeless & elegant. I felt like myself but bridal & it was probably one of the quickest decisions I've made in a long time!. How did your wedding day go? My wedding day was perfect, the getting ready was lovely and calm, I didn't feel too nervous. I had amazing bridesmaids that couldn't do enough to ensure I was looked after. The dress had arrived and I was excited to wear it. I had such a great day, everyone was in such good spirits and loved the dress. The atmosphere was magical, a feeling that can't be replicated and if I could relive it I would jump at the chance. Any advice you'd give future brides? Don't go to a dress outlet & feel pressured into buying a dress and various other accessories that they insist you need, FYI they work on commison. If you are unsure about a dress, its not the right one, walk away. When u put the right one on, u know! I couldn't understand getting so upset over a dress but like Claire told me, it's not 'just a dress, it's something so much more than that', and she's right it really is so much more, it's so special and you deserve to feel like the best version of you on a completely magical day. Tell us about your wedding day. We were married on 20th June 2026 at the beautiful Thornbury Hall in Kingsley Holt. Surrounded by our family and friends, it was the most incredible day and one that we will cherish forever. The venue provided the perfect setting for our celebration, creating a truly magical atmosphere from start to finish. Our talented photographer, Paul Bell Wedding Photography, captured every special moment so perfectly. Looking back through our photographs brings all the emotions flooding back and allows us to relive the love, laughter and joy of the day all over again. Our stunning flowers were created by Forget Me Knots on Cheadle High Street. Every arrangement was beautiful and brought our vision to life, adding the perfect finishing touch to our wedding day. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I chose Stella York Style SY8139, and from the moment I stepped into it, I knew it was the one. I instantly fell in love with how romantic, modern and effortlessly glamorous it felt. The soft A line silhouette was incredibly flattering and made me feel so confident, while the beautiful sequin floral lace added the perfect amount of sparkle and elegance. How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I didn’t feel confident or comfortable with any dress due to a bad experience in another shop. Also wasn’t happy with my weight due to just having a baby. From the moment I came into wedding belles Love I didn’t feel judged. Darci put me at ease with how nice she is and how calm and relatable she is. What was your first dance song? Your The One by Robbie Williams. The moment you knew it was the one? I knew as soon as I put it on. It was a wow moment and releasing I actually look pretty in a dress with how self conscious I was. How did your day go? My wedding day went really well. The weather held up and got married outside which I was over the moon with. The dress was nice and comfortable especially with me being pregnant again that was a worry but it was lovely. Wouldn’t changed it for the world. Any advice you'd give future brides? For future brides. My advice would be do what makes you happy. Do not over stretch and Keep it in budget. Have a spa day the day before the wedding that really helped me to destress and just enjoy getting married.

Tell us about your wedding day. We were married on 27th June 2026 at the stunning Ashes Barns in Endon. Surrounded by our closest family and friends, it was a truly unforgettable day . The beautiful setting of Ashes Barns created the perfect backdrop for our celebration and made every moment feel even more magical. Our incredible photographer, James Merrick, captured the day so beautifully. From the smallest details to the biggest emotions, every photograph tells the story of our wedding perfectly and allows us to relive those precious moments again and again. Our gorgeous floral arrangements were created by Foxtail Florist, who brought our vision to life with stunning blooms that complemented the venue beautifully and added the perfect finishing touch to our day. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I chose Leni By Madi Lane, I instantly fell in love with how romantic, modern and effortlessly beautiful it felt. The fitted silhouette was incredibly flattering and made me feel so confident, while the beautiful floral lace added the perfect amount of sparkle and elegance. How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to find anything or that I would feel rushed and uncomfortable but it was the complete opposite I walked away so happy. I had the best experience finding my wedding dress! Darci and Clare were both so lovely, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease. They were so patient and helpful, and made the whole experience fun and stress-free. I couldn’t be happier with my dress and would definitely recommend them to any bride-to-be. I knew as soon as I tried it on everyone told me I would but I didn’t believe them. Any advice you'd give future brides? I’m such a nervous and shy person and was really dreading all the major parts of the wedding ( walking down the aisle in front of everyone and speaking + first dance) everyone told me I’d want to do it all over again and I was like I definitely won’t🤣but I was so calm and chill and would honestly love to do the whole day over again it was amazing and goes so quick so just take in every minute!

We became Mr and Mrs Ward on 20th August 2026, beginning our wedding day with our ceremony at Newcastle Registry Office, before continuing the celebrations at The Crown Wharf with our closest family and friends. 🤍 It was such a wonderful day, filled with love, laughter and so many special moments that we will treasure forever. Having everyone we love together to celebrate with us made it even more memorable. Our beautiful photographs were captured by Adam Lowndes, giving us the most gorgeous memories to look back on and relive our wedding day for years to come. The finishing touch was our stunning flowers, created by Hester Hough at A Pinch of Flower. They complemented the day beautifully and brought everything together perfectly. I chose Ophelia by Stella York 🤍 The moment I put her on, I knew she was the one. The beautiful A-line silhouette felt so flattering and effortless, while the nude underlayer made the incredible lace detailing really come to life. What I loved most were the bold, romantic florals that flowed across the entire dress. They gave Ophelia such a soft, feminine feel while still making a statement, and she felt completely perfect for me. ✨ Ophelia by Stella York gave me that perfect mix of romance, confidence and something just a little bit different for my wedding day. 🤍 How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? Not nervous at all came in looking for a dress I had seen modelled on Fb tried it on did love it but when trying mine of I just knew rhat was the one. I knew what I didnt want in a dress. but I felt at ease straight away and loved trying rhe different styles on I came back a couple of time just to try on and every time I came back i just knew even more was the one I didnt want take it off!!! I did to some shot as well as I was trying to look weight so when looking at them made me feel even better. What was your first dance song? We didn't have a first dance lol but our song is Tennesse Whiskey teddy swims version!! How did your wedding day go? Everything just we to plan from start to finish has lunch a relaxing morning hair make up bit of brekkie. was on time!!!!! Room was just how I had asked for it. Stanley twin 2 was a little bugger at rhe ceremony!!! but hey ho hes 3! but we had the Silver service Waiters which we amazing absolutely made the day. Louise Fox captured it all as my content creator. We had Docs Magic in the eve (yes magic is real)!!! which everyone loved. I couldn't have asked for a better more perfect day. Any advice you'd give future brides? Just make sure you enjoy it too, the day goes so so quick. Don't stress if something is not done not perfect because no one knows about it but you!!! Dont worry about speaking to everyone either you are to busy and they are enjoying themselves anyway!!!!
