Tell us about your wedding day. We got married on 20.02.2026 at Moddershall Oaks, and it was honestly everything we dreamed of and more 🤍 Our day felt so personal to us. We dressed the room ourselves and created all of our own flowers, which made everything feel even more special knowing how much love and effort had gone into every detail. I chose Stella York 7974, Bondi, a princess-style gown with the most beautiful 3D appliqués that gave it such a soft, romantic feel. It had that real fairytale look, but still felt modern and light, which made it perfect for me. To make it feel even more like me , I added a lace jacket, which gave me that extra bit of detail and made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the day. Everyone will tell you the day flies by so fast, but it really does. You need time away with your new husband/wife to spend just the 2 of you to take it all in.

I wore a Stella York A line wedding dress called Altheda, which felt timeless and effortless. It was a plain yet romantic A line wedding dress made from lightweight Mikado fabric, with elegant off the shoulder sleeves and a statement thigh split that added a modern edge. The structure of the dress felt incredible to wear and struck the perfect balance between simplicity and effortless drama for our wedding day. How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? I felt nervous before the appointment as I didn’t know what to expect and what style of dress I would like. During the appointment, I felt so comfortable! I feel like Darci knew what would suit me before I did! It was a really special experience and I felt so happy and excited after the appointment that I found the one!! How was your wedding day? Our wedding day was perfect. We had a personalised wedding ceremony that encapsulated our story beautifully and we were surrounded by people we love. It was truly magical. The moment you knew it was the one As soon as I looked in the mirror, I just felt like me! I felt so comfortable in it and couldn’t stop smiling! That’s when I knew. I wore a beautiful Madi Lane A line wedding dress that felt effortless and timeless, and every special moment was captured perfectly by Ice Dreams Photography . Our flowers were sourced from Etsy , adding a personal touch that made the day feel truly ours. Which song was your first dance? Our first dance was to Fix You . It was such an emotional moment and the lyrics felt incredibly meaningful to us. A song we will always associate with that special part of our day. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I got married in a Madi Lane A line wedding dress with bold lace detailing and a modern square neckline. The structure of the dress was incredible and gave it such a confident, elegant feel, while the train added a real wow moment as I walked down the aisle. It felt timeless yet contemporary and completely perfect for our day. How did you feel before starting your bridal journey with us? I was extremely nervous before trying on any dresses, and this was the first shop I had been to so it was going to be the first time ever in a wedding dress. I don’t usually wear dresses so I didn’t think anything would suit me. My wedding dress was the last dress I tried on, it was a dress that Claire herself picked out. When I looked in the mirror I felt my body just instantly relax and it made me stop picking out my insecurities, and instead I finally felt like a bride! Your I Do Moment! The wedding day was perfect in every way, even the weather! I couldn’t have asked for a better day and I wouldn’t change a thing. I wish I could do it all over again. Some advice for other brides! My advice to future brides would be to just enjoy all of it, even the stressful parts! People are true when they say “it’s over in a flash”.

The setting created the perfect backdrop for our day and everything came together so beautifully. The whole day felt relaxed, emotional, and unforgettable from start to finish. Which wedding dress did you get married in? I got married in an fit and flare dress by Stella York called Poppy. It was a beautiful lace gown with delicate straps and a plunging neckline, I even added off the shoulder straps to make myself feel more confident and like me! It was everything I had imagined for my wedding day. How was your bridal experience with us? I am really happy with my experience at wedding belles. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel at ease straight away. I was worried from previous experiences at other retailers because they had limited dresses for curvy women like myself which were outdated and for much older brides. At wedding belles they have a wide range of stylish dresses in a range of sizes for all ages, shapes and sizes. I found my dream dress, managed to get it in a different colour as I wanted ivory and also added extra fabric to create a Bardot style as I was anxious about showing my arms. Tell us about your wedding day. We got married at the beautiful Salt House @ Standon Hall and from the moment we saw it, we just knew. It had everything we wanted and felt so us from the very beginning. I wanted the day to feel personal and full of meaning, so I created all of the flowers myself. Being my own florist made everything feel even more special and added such a lovely personal touch to the whole setting. Every single moment was captured so perfectly by Lauren Bennett Photography. Looking back at the photos, you can feel the love, the emotion and the happiness from start to finish. It was honestly everything we had hoped for and more 🤍 Which wedding dress did you get married in? I got married in the Madi Lane Walsh gown. It is a fitted ivory satin dress with a subtle jacquard texture that feels so luxurious in person. The silhouette hugged in all the right places, and the bow detail at the back added the most beautiful statement moment. I also wore the overskirt for part of the day, which completely transformed the look and gave me that extra touch of drama. It felt modern, elegant and timeless all at once, and I honestly could not have imagined wearing anything else. How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? You were the last shop I visited. After trying over 20 different boutiques I felt completely overwhelmed and honestly a little fed up. But when I walked in, everything felt different. You were calm, supportive and so kind. You really listened to what I did not like instead of pushing me towards something that was not me, and we built from there. I finally felt heard, understood and completely comfortable being myself. And that made all the difference What was your first dance song? Love me with all your heart by Engelbert Humperdink How did your wedding day go? It went really well, one of my bridesmaids fell ill so didn't attend, a lot of people dropped out of the day and a lot of people didn't turn up to the evening. But taking all of that away, I really had a fantastic time, super nervous but I loved the whole day. Any advice you'd give future brides? Don't dwell on people not being there, if it's a rubbish excuse then the people that you should focus on are the ones who attended your wedding with smiles all day and evening

It made everything feel even more special knowing how much love had gone into every detail. Every moment was captured so beautifully by Amy Birks at ARB Studios, allowing us to relive it all over again. The whole day was filled with so much love, emotion, and happiness… memories we will cherish forever ✨ Which wedding dress did you get married in? I chose a Stella York gown Roma 7729 with a beautiful satin bodice paired with a soft, romantic organza ruffle skirt. It felt like the perfect mix of structure and movement, giving me that classic bridal feel with a bit of drama. I also added flowing sleeves, which made me feel so much more comfortable and confident throughout the day. It was everything I wanted… elegant, feminine, and completely me ✨ How did you feel during your bridal journey with us? Before my appointment, I felt really nervous. Finding a dress that I felt completely comfortable in, especially something that fit my bust perfectly, was so important to me, and I wasn’t sure I’d get that “this is the one” moment. But as soon as I found my dress at Wedding Belles Love, everything changed. I just knew. I felt incredible, so confident, and completely comfortable in myself.
